Schary is a Los Angeles based artist and graduate of the University
of California at Irvine. Schary lived the majority of his life in
Southern California, where mirage environments and confused cultural
history were always close by. Since 1998, Schary has been working
through formal and intangible properties of art. He questions the
environment around him, not to fix it, but to see how it affects him
and others sharing the same space. His work has always questioned
aspects of life most take for granted. Some earlier projects include,
Money, which involved a series of phrases printed on dollar
bills, the performance work, Punched by Strangers and Friends,
and a series of sculptures that used the television set as a surface
for conventional painting. Never sticking to one specific medium,
Schary's work is never static and will continue to change along with
the world he lives in.

dollars, la performance Punched by Strangers and Friends
surface picturale.
